Instead of using the Grizzlys directly, the entire shipment was diverted to Bovington for study. Due to the tensions, it was urgent that the Commonwealth be able to design and build its own models. The result was the Percival, a design distinct from the Grizzly, due to the need to incorporate the latest automated systems and a power plant sufficient for the Commonwealth's new version of the Tesla Cannon.

The box contains a multi-part resin and Warlord resin Percival medium assault walker, a decal sheet for the vehicle, an MDF base, and an assembly guide.

Models are supplied unassembled and unpainted.

Once the U.S. Armed Forces received the M8 Grizzly medium walker in sufficient quantities, the surplus production was allocated to the Commonwealth under the Lend-Lease program. By then, research into equipping Commonwealth vehicles, including walkers, with automated assistance systems was well advanced. The Commonwealth was concerned that relying entirely on the United States for walker supplies made it overly dependent on a foreign supplier, especially given the growing tensions in relations between the two nations.
