Commands & Colors: Napoleonics is a game from the popular Commands & Colors series, which allows us to recreate the famous battles that took place at the beginning of the 19th century, between the French and British armies.
The game has a simple basic mechanic, making it very accessible to players who are new to Wargames, while at the same time, its level of detail makes it ideal for the more experienced player.
Each unit (infantry, cavalry, and artillery) is represented by a certain number of blocks. Each player has a hand of cards to give orders to their units, creating a kind of “Fog of War” for the opponent. For combat, a dice system is used that recreates encounters between troops in a quick and efficient way.
The game recreates a series of scenarios, in which, little by little, new types of units are gradually incorporated, thus allowing players to learn to play easily.
