Matte acrylic primers specially formulated for airbrushing. Vallejo primers do not obscure details and can be applied to a variety of surfaces, such as resin, PVC, brass, white metal, or wood. To ensure excellent adhesion, the surface must be degreased beforehand; therefore, it is recommended to wash the model or figure prior to priming in order to remove any residual mold-release agents. The primers should be applied in successive layers; they dry quickly, forming a uniform film of exceptional hardness and durability a few hours after application.

They can be used directly or diluted with Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. Recommended compressor settings for our paints are around 15–20 PSI (0.5–1 kg). For proper airbrush maintenance, we recommend using Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner. The primer is the first layer of color applied to the model, intended to prepare the surface for subsequent painting stages.
